You follow me.
(John 21:22)

Lord, when Peter asks what will happen to his fellow apostle, John, you tell him that it is of no concern to him. You simply reiterate, “Follow me.”

Following you is the only thing that concerns us, Lord. While we are here, we care for our companions, but we cannot know their future. Only if you reveal it to us can we know our own destiny. What matters is that we follow you in this moment. Your Spirit will guide us. We cannot see the path in front of us, but we know it leads to you. You are the way. Let us keep going straight. Thy will be done.
